Welcome!

Hey there.
Thanks for stopping by.

This space—Seppi-Cola—isn’t about polished takes or perfect aesthetics (though we like those too). It’s about intersections. The overlapping, sometimes chaotic, always meaningful threads of life—faith and work, art and discipline, family and ambition. I don’t always know how it fits together, but I’m trying to live with both feet in it.

Right now, I’m a student at BYU, studying in Psychology and Philosophy and preparing to commission as a U.S. Army officer through the ROTC program. After graduation, the plan is law school and a career as a Judge Advocate—at least to start. (Unless, of course, I’m still single by then… in which case, who knows? Maybe I’ll go Delta Force and disappear.) I also run Seppi's Thrift, a small, online, vintage store. And for fun, I design under the umbrella of Studio Seppi — a creative outlet that plays with ideas in clothing, home goods, motors, and more. Most of it is just concept work for now, but it’s a big part of how I think and dream.

This blog is where I reflect on the in-betweens—what faith looks like in public life, what beauty looks like in hardship, and what it really means to seek justice. It’s personal. It's spiritual. Sometimes it’s technical. Sometimes it's just messy. But I’ll try to keep it real.

You'll see other voices here from time to time, but for now, it’s mostly mine.

I go by Joseph—never Joe, not Joey (unless you're Padmé or some ethereal woman from a galaxy far, far away—then we can talk). Middle name’s Daniel, after my Grandpa Dan, one of my heroes.

I’m from Rexburg, Idaho—a little town with big skies and cold winters. I grew up surrounded by potatoes, national parks, and people who believe in things. That shaped me more than I realized.

Anyway, thanks again for being here. Whether you're just passing through or decide to stick around, I’m glad you're part of this. Let's see where it goes.

—Joseph
